Quote from: badwolf on November 12, 2011, 01:04:48 AMBecause of this post I downloaded five episodes of season two 5,6,7,8 and 9, not sure what episode you up to in the USA Really liking this as we here in the UK just don't have guns They do some cool stuff in this show, its one I'll be watching Well, let's see...between my father and I we have a muzzle-loading Enfield, a Snider, a Martini-Henry, a Martini-Enfield, three SMLEs, a No.5 jungle Carbine, a P.14 Enfield, and two Webleys. No wonder you don't have guns in the UK-we have all of them here in our safes!

I mean I've heard of Enfield and Wembley but the others
I'm just giving you a hard time DEVIL. Seems you like the C&R stuff.
Quote from: badwolf on November 13, 2011, 12:03:50 AM I mean I've heard of Enfield and Wembley but the others They're all British Army rifles from different eras. The Enfield muzzle loader was used heavily in the American Civil War. The Snider was the first British breach-loader. The Martini-Henry replaced the Snider. I wanted a Martini ever since I first saw the movie Zulu, and managed to find a beautiful one at a gun show a few years back. The SMLE is usually known as the Lee-Enfield, and the P.14 is another World War 1 weapon. Thus endeth today's history lesson.
