That's a great idea and I might nick that for the wallet set up  There's literally no room left in the tin - even for something as small as that. The Kevlar cord is a bit thick as thread too - more kind of emergency cordage. It would work well wih the awl on the Wenget PTC on the gadget ring, but that's a different package which may or may not be available at the time  Other option would be to do what I did in my Altoid tin repair kit for long hikes which is simply duck tape a leather needle to the underside of the lid Even then I'd need to be very careful on the location - space really is that tight now if I want the lid to shut properly

I've seen those before (and had good experience with that store too  ) but pocket carry wins for me. The pouch is something I might consider for a long hike, but generally pocket carry means less snags and less attention/annoying questions

A mate of mine turned up some Wintergreen flavoured ones, they were lovely.  Most of Altoids market is in the US though and we really don't get the full range apparently.

Packed away in the right order there's hardly any rattle, yet the tin isn't strained in any way. The lid clips shut nicely and the ranger band makes sure it stays that way till I need to get in

I appreciate there's no quick deployment options here, but the purpose of this is having the maximum options in the minimum package for when I'm away from car and backpack without losing too much function. The capabilities of this little toolbox are mammoth, yet the whole package isn't much bigger than my frequently carried gadget ring

Everything other than the light is detatchable for ease of use. Trying to fix my glasses for example with the whole bundle clattering about isnt fun. There were a few other little things I had hoped to include in the mix, but I discovered this lot fits very comfortably in my wallet alongside the usual cash and cards

I love little kits like this and value them as part of my day to day activities as much as I do a full sized multitool. These are winning combos in my book, and while the wallet and tin arrangements are fairly young, they have both been comfortably carried and have proved very handy indeed

Anyone see the Leatherman gift tin that the Style PS comes in?  I'm not sure of the dimensions but it appears to be a bit deeper than an Altoids tin.  CountyComm also has quite a bit of odds and ends that you could put in a Altoids survival tin.  They sell this tape called Extreme Tape, that looks similar to electricians tape but only sticks to itself.  It's great for sealing a tin once you have the contents you want inside.  I don't think CountyComm ships overseas but I remember reading that there is a store that sells the same products in the UK?  I'm not positive on that though.

Knives and tools and lighter (or tin) - front right
Only thing that tends to sit in back pocket is a Buff or hanky

It's really not that bulky at all. I wouldn't sit on my wallet normally because I wouldnt want to break anything in it, and it's a lot easier for a wallet to be lost or "lifted" from a back pocket in my mind

I don't think CountyComm ships overseas but I remember reading that there is a store that sells the same products in the UK?  I'm not positive on that though.
