So Do You Ever...

Sit And Just Try And Come Up With The Best Solution And Way To EDC Everything You Need/Want?
It's Not Very Together, The Way I Carry. Everything Is Just Simply Pocketed.

I Want A Good Way To Carry Everything On Me Without Stuffing My Pockets But Being Able To Quickly Get To Everything When Needed Without Having To Dig Around In A Bag For It.

Now, I Love Backpacks, Don't Get Me Wrong. It's Just Not Practical For Me To Be Carrying On With Me Absolutely Everywhere. Unless I Made It A True EDC And Used It For Absolutely Everything. But That Still Leaves The Quickness Problem To Be Dealt With.

Are There Any Little Organizers/Carriers That Would Hold What I Need EVERYDAY? Also How Would I EDC It Comfortably? I Guess I Could Hook It On My Belt, But I Don't Always Where A Belt. Hmmm...

Do You Guys Ever Have This Issue? And Any Suggestions To Fix It?

That is truly awesome. They should have manufactured it with Velcro or buttons/holes to accommodate different sized SAKs and STs. I'm looking in a Maxped micro organizer for assorted baby stuff, once munchkin is more mobile (bandaids and neosporin, mini Phillips and batteries, nail clippers and tweezers, etc). I trend toward more minimal carry, so my preferences might not suit your needs. Maxpedition is supposed to manufacture some pretty amazing stuff.

Get a backpack that doubles/looks like a purse. In public places you won't even stand out.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I do that constantly.

My best solution is to carry items which minimize size and maximize function.   Smallest pocketable pistol in a "major" caliber (Kahr PM9, S&W 442, etc.).  Smallest yet powerful light (Quark Mini CR123).  Smallest SAK, whistle, etc.  You get the idea.

Sometimes I carry a big, honkin' knife just because I feel like it.  But generally, smaller works just fine.

I do these things because carrying a man sack everywhere I go is just not something I'm going to do.  So small EDC items which retain functionality allows me to carry more, and carry more comfortably while still being prepared.

Yep. That's why my bag weighs 6 pounds and I don't go any further out of the apartment than the mailbox without it.

Constantly.

You should see how many times I've reorganized my camera bag. It weighs 45lbs and I can do ANYTHING on location with it. No wasted space.

For my edc stuff, I end up obsessing over how to carry things without redundancy, keeping it tight, then trying to replicate that kind of performance in stainless steel and black colour.

I follow this principle:
I pack most of my stuff into my Charge sheath. add two pocket clipped folders, and keys and im good to go. Very rarely do I encounter a situation for which I am unequipped. To be honest I can't remember the last time I felt unprepared.

It's a chess game that can never be won , delete a piece of gear - you'll need it tomm ! I like a certain degree of redundancy as stuff can fail , get lost stolen or strayed . Two is one , one is none .

EDC is like an ideal gas , it'll tend to occupy all the space in any sized vacum .

I have these new fangled things on my pants called pockets. I just load them up with my keychain stuff, SAK, multi, random stuff and BAM! ...... I'm covered for most of what life throws at me.

About once a week I go through what I carry and switch it up.  It would help me a ton if I was comfortable with pocket clipped MT's and knives, but I don't like the bulk of anything in that spot.  The biggest thing that I have clipped in my pocket is a Leatherman Monarch 300.  and that's tiny!  I can't even carry my sideclip in my pocket, it goes on the belt.  For these reasons I tend to carry a MT in a sheath on my belt on the left, a knife or MT in a sheath on my belt on the right, pocket clipped flashlight, thin CC wallet in LFP, iPhone in RFP and keys clipped to my belt on the right hip.  I have started carrying my supertinker on those keys attached by a maratac gate clip.

I went from my CTU Jack Bag to a Schoolpack from Wegner that I put back together after many years of hard service with my Oldest back in forth to School...I added lots of Pockets and an extra strap to toss over my Shoulder..It works for me because I carry it in the Car/Semi at Work? or in the corner of the Living Room...It's about 15 pounds of Problem Solving Happiness
