No I was cool with it and the guy I loaned it to. He's been a friend of mine for going on 5 years. Besides if I didn't trust him I wouldn't have loaned it. He's an older guy and we play quake online together. I didn't want him to hurt himself there either. The light can be replaced/rebuilt, but a friend is hard to come by.
I'm always warning people who want to use my lights - DON'T LOOK IN TO THE DAMN THING!

I was showing someone my 3300L, and the first thing they tried to do was look in the end... I slapped it out of their hand yelling "do you want to go blind!?"
Today a friend of mine asked to borrow my light. This isn't your normal flashlight. It's my burn your eyes out torch. Anyway he had to go to another building to get parts. There is no light or electricity there. When he brought my light back he said "damn that things bright, it lit up the whole building". I said I know that's why I built it. It's nice when you help someone .
My answer would have been that I was told that about another activity ... and it hasn't worked so far
