Help witha MiniTool

Help!

Something has leaked into the hinges of my MiniTool!I can open the handles,but the pliers wont open.

I've had the tool in a bathof WD40,but it aint worked!Any ideas?? :cry:
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

I would try super hot water and dish detergent.  If that doenst help move to other solvents to see what might break up the gunk.  You werent working with super glue were you?

I hope he wasn't as I did that with my s2 and boy was that mess.  :doh:

After you try the hot water and soap and no results try break cleaner spray.If that doesn't work it's time to break out the butane torch and apply a little heat.You notice I said a little heat,not glowing red or anywhere close to it.Heating and cooling will expand and contract the metal and should break it loose.

Thanks for the advice folks.DO it wasnt superglue.I'm at a loss as to how it hapened,as the mini is eithert in my pocket or stored in a tin...

Any way will try hot water and detergent and see what happens.I'll report back

Bit late in catching up on this thread,but the Mini is back in action.A bath in boiling water,CilitBang,and kitchen cleaner done the job!
