Need help deciding, Swisstool or Spirit

Howdy!

I have some leftover Christmas amazon gift card money, and I was thinking of getting either another Spirit (I already have tow, one in each car) or a regular swisstool.

I really like the Spirit, but the swisstool is currently $10 cheaper on amazon, so it is tempting me.  The size probably won't matter, as this will be primarily for around the house jobs, not an EDC.

I have read, though, that the straight handles on the swisstool make the nail nicks harder to access.  This has me a little concerned.  I just got a leatherman blast on clearance at target, and I'm either going to return it or gift it as it is literally a nail breaker getting the tools out.  I'm sure the swisstool isn't as bad, but I'm spoiled by the Spirit.

So, any expert advise?  I'm specifically looking at the Spirit X or the regular model swisstool.

I prefer the Spirit for EDC because its smaller, but if you already have two, then get the big daddy Swisstool.  Its awesome.

Absolutely grab the full size if you don't have one.  My fav is the RS with the rescue cutter, but if you don't like that, the swisstool x is my next fav since it has scissors.  If you don't care about the scissors than the base model is great tool.  Really you cant go wrong.  Also I have no issues getting the tools out of either, so I don't think its harder on the full size.

Just got a base model swisstool. Never had a spirit. Its big but well worth the weight and buttery smooth functions.
