As requested Pics of brass lighter
on: January 18, 2012, 06:08:45 AM
EDCGear requested pics of my ww2 era lighter. All brass made in Austria. Got a great deal cause it was broke. Was being the key word. Here ya go

^ this was the rivet that was broke. Who says modding SAKs doesn't have its perks. I took a brass rivet and shaped it. I think it looks great and it works better than any lighter I own. High quality.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

That's great you were able to fix it, totally worth the effort.

I've always wanted one just like that as these guys will attest>  :ahhh

You have a powerful bargaining chip in future trade agreements with me.

How much do you think I could get for those if I made them from titanium?

Well I think much of the value of these are that they are antique. New ones made like this out of brass are relatively cheap. Titanium I have no idea :(. But unique titanium website can give you some competitive pricing on titanium products.  I can give you some specs to help if you like.

Oh BTW, as far as I know that's slight after WWI era lighter, not WWII... IMCO made them started in 1918 after WWI and they were inspired by so called Trench Art...

For WWII they had IMCO TRIPLEX, and TRIPLEX Jr.

Ohhhhh never mind.... What a beauty!!!!  :dd: :dd: :dd:
