Has anyone spotted any Wave's on the store shelf being sold with the new leather sheath?
In case you haven't seen the new design yet:

Yes I just bought a new Wave and it came with this sheath (Australia). It had a sticker saying made in China. Fits well and would be my pick out of the ones available, but the leather seems to be the same quality as the others I have seen. Has elastic on one side with a loop to hold an a bit extender or similar. I wont be using it as I bought one of the original Wave sheaths. Cheers, Joe.

Only for vertical carry?I prefer more old design sheath for horizontal carry too.
But this new sheath looks great!

I have modded an old PST sheath, and a pulse sheath for horizontal carry using utility cord, and more recently 550 paracord.
I wish they had some more views of that sheath.

Fair warning: the new Wave sheaths are a very snug fit. If you have the pocket clip attached,or use the lanyard ring (included or optional), good luck. You will probably be better off with the standard leather, nylon, or molle sheaths.

I like the new design! Always preferred the more classical leather sheaths.
Too bad they decided to include the, IMO embarrassing, LM "swoosh". Personally I think they should scrap the logo since it's a blatant rip off of the Nike logo.

Amici,
Have to saw am not a big fan of any of the LM sheaths. I have to concur with kinskibrain regarding the original leather sheaths for the original wave although the made in USA nylon version was by far the best model they offered before outsourcing..
Cheers,
Serge
