Victorinox Watches and NATO Straps for Trade
on: February 25, 2012, 06:20:10 PM
Howdy!

I have three victorinox watches I would like to trade.

Full disclosure: All watches have been worn and show signs of wear i.e., scratches on the case and bands (just a few minutes with some steel wool would get rid of most of them).  The crystals are all sapphire and I don't see any marks on any of them.  Also, all three have dead batteries.  I know for certain they will all work, they just need new batteries.

All 3 bracelets are currently sized for a 6.5" wrist.

So, here are the watches:

1) Victorinox V7-00 basic (older).  This one I wore for several years and shows the most wear.  The clasp on the metal band is messed up, so you may want to put it on a strap of some kind.  The fold over clasp still works, and that is how I wore it for awhile. Has the word "Victorinox" etched on the 9 o'clock side of the case.  7 jewel ETA battery movement. The watch is 37mm x 9mm with 18mm lugs. NO extra links, can't find them.

2) Victorinox V7-00 basic (newer).  Identical to the first watch, except there is no "Victorinox" etching on the case.  I never wore this, but I got it used so it has some scratches as well.  7 jewel ETA battery movement The watch is 37mm x 9mm with 18mm lugs.  NO extra links, can't find them.

3) Victorinox V7-32x Chrono.  This was originally all highly polished, but I brushed the case and the outside of the strap.  If you look at the extra links in the pic, you can see how it used to look.  This has a nice 27 (!) jewel eta movement.  A lot of jewels for a battery powered watch. It is 39mm x 15mm with 20mm lugs.  I have the extra links for this, but you would probably need to have a jeweler size it for you as it uses pin and collars (like the Seiko monster).  They are a PITA to do on your own.

Also I have 3 18mm NATO straps, a few 20mm NATO straps (they are all the nice Time Factors kind) and one 20mm leather strap (Thick).

I can throw in one or two of the NATO straps on #1 since its clasp is messed up.

So...what do I want?  Not really sure.  I like alox SAKs, so shoot me an offer if you have something along those lines.  I would also trade the whole lot for a plain-edge leatherman skeletool.  Don't care if its the older 420 plain edge or the newer CX version.

I'm willing to be very fair, since whoever gets these will need to spring for new batteries.

Let me know if you're interested and have something different, it never hurts to ask!
