Sitting here at the disability adjucators office. Time for my fiancé to find out her fate. She suffers from multiple seizures of different types and more disorders than I care to mention. If anyone ever deserved it she does. I pick her up when she falls and catch her when I can. Prayers, thoughts and wishes for a good outcome. Thanks all MTO peeps you all have been great to us both.

Well the judge was a real smurfhole. She came out in tears so I guess it's a no go for now

. The judge put it on hold for 30 days so now we have wait.

There is so many people who scam the system for a free ride thru life that when someone like your girl who really needs it tries they are refused. Best of luck to you both pal.

As I understand it, a large part of the hard time given to people is to help weed out the ones that don't really need it. A friend of mine has been fighting with them for years despite having a well documented and very obvious significant issue. I think they poke at you enough that they hope you'll give up and they save the money. All the more reason not to give in.
