Questions from a newbie about modding!

Hello everybody!

I am new to the forums although I own and love my Victorinox 98' soldier with keyring since my 1999 trip to switzerland when i was 14 :)

I am interested in whittling so I went through a thread that talks about SAKs for whittling and that made me want to explore the possibilities of modding a Victorinox (not my soldier :P )

I would like to ask how easy is it to open one of them for a newbie, is there a sort of a guide for beginners, I m not talking anything real fancy what I was thinking was a farmer with a small blade and something like a prunning blade, instead of the can and bottle openers.

I hope its ok that I ask about modding advices :)

Really happy to find a forum I can read for hours!

opening the knife is the easy thing-- closing and adjusting is the real challenge  :D

Starting to get some idea after some reading on the mod forum :P

I came across a Pioneer Settler (that I never knew such thing existed)
Any chance there is a model Alox with small blade and the awl? (if it got the woodsaw would be awsome)

Just asking since I guess that there are enough models I never knew they existed!!
