Isn't funny how we gloss over things all the time? I have looked at Enki's avatar nearly a hundred times and thought
'meh, dude on some euro scooter... probably a self-potrait.' But only today i actually looked at it and went 'Wow thats someone dressed up as darth vader on a scooter, why didnt i notice this???'

Then two post down i see 50ft-Trads little metal stick man and i inspect the details to see it rather fanboy-ishly assembled from actual multitools. 'Gee thats clever"

Probably spend ages double checking things now. Any other examples of this happening in peoples lives?

I recently noticed there's some kind of yellow car in Def's avatar... and I think Neil's avatar is an insect of some sorts? :D

I though enki was someone different for a month after he changed his avatar.  :D  (of course I also thought tatoosteeves one was a man playing drums...)

The most confusing for me are the people who constantly change their Avatar..
dunc, Turnsouth seem to change them every week....  :ahhh

I tend to ID people from they're avatar too, and it can certainly catch you out when they change them. I'm really glad people aren't changing their names all the time anymore (thankfully that phase was over when I joined up)

I'm sticking with the theme though. :D I've had the cookies avatar for too long now, on various sites, programs and forums for some 4 years now. Might change it back some day.

Rather than start a new thread i thought i might add the question to this one.


Looking for a quote about the list of skills a man should have, it was in the sig line of one of the forum members that i can't remember but i do vaguely remember a hog silohuette in the avatar and the little origin flag being italian or mexican.  ??? ???
