I guess he was tired? I like how he can do all of his running around, jumping in the windows, and noise making while we try to get some sleep, but come his time we got to wak on eggshells.. Lol

Sadly, we had to surrender our two cats (Fluffy and Spooky) to a shelter :(  I've posted them on here at least once or twice.  Back at the end of last August, we had to move.  However, our house wasn't ready (and still isn't), so we had to move in with family in the meantime.  The cats went to stay with my sister for a couple months, but she couldn't keep them any longer.  We kept them in a room in the basement of our future house, but the temps have been getting too low.  Their water started freezing in the dish, and I didn't like the idea of them being in there like that.  Even if their fur may keep them warm enough, I didn't feel right keeping them in those conditions.  Since the house still likely won't be ready for another 3+ months, we had to make the choice to give them up, rather than force them to endure those conditions over the next couple months, which will be very cold I'm sure.

I'm really sorry to hear that Kyle. :(  I sucks big time when you have to surrender your fur babies.  I still miss our kitties, but our sons allergies just got too bad to keep them.

Thanks guys.  It sucked to have to do it, but it's a big relief at the same time.  I had to go down there every other day to feed them and clean out the litter box.  The house is just a couple houses up the road from where we're staying, so it was convenient.  It's too bad, but they're likely better off.  At the very least they're warm, so that's a plus.  Not sure how they're liking the new environment with many other cats around, but we won't know that anyway.  At least it's a no kill shelter and they will do their best to find them homes.  They did say they think Fluffy will go quick as Maine Coons are popular.

So sorry to hear, our neighbor has a few fluffs, she was just out in the hallway when we walked in, her one got out the door and took off so we helped her get them in, it was kinda funny cause she left her door open and her other ones just sat there waiting, lol..

Yeah, we'll miss them.  I think it helped my daughter in particular that her and my wife hadn't seen them much at all in the last 4 months, so some of that attachment had gone.  My daughter wasn't too broken up about it, so that was good.  I was probably the saddest one as I had been taking care of them, even though the contact was only like 15 mins every other day.  I liked Fluffy though, and he was a personal best in terms of duration of keeping a cat.  I'd had him 7.5 years, and all others before him only lasted a couple at most.  He was the first one I decided to keep indoors, which made the difference.

Yeah it's hard, when we had our dog put down it was really hard! But it was so much better for him, we had him for over 12yrs so we were so attached! But now it's so much easier around the house, don't have to take him out four times or more a day, pick up huge lawn mines, and clean up all the hair! The nice thing is not worrying having to be home and take care of him, at least the cat can go 24-more, we can stay out rather then rush home if it came to it. Sorry again about your cats..

Cleaned my tank today.

This is my 4th one. At one point I had a 30 gallon with a turtle, a 55 with a largemouth bass and a pike in it, and a 10 gallon with shad to feed everything.

My brother also has a 55 salsmurfer tank and my dad has 30 salsmurfer tank.

All that's left for me is this 30 gallon with an albino eel and a clown loach....

Well, Zorro has caught my eye for one, and the one on the far right in the first pic (light bay with black points) is also a handsome beast. :)

Well, Zorro has caught my eye for one, and the one on the far right in the first pic (light bay with black points) is also a hansom beast. :)

Zorro and Millie have the same Anglo Arab dad.
Zorro's mum is a Thoroughbred and Millie's mum is a Kaimanawa (wild NZ horse) called Summer.
She is the one nearest the camera in the truck pic.
Millie is my daughters horse but she is still a little green so she rides Zorro or my Appaloosa as they have been working longer.
I quite like working with Millie, she is a very forgiving horse and doesn't get upset easily.
