Paladin PT-510

Sorry Don't know if this is the right place but I guess as the tool is kinda a SOG I would stick it here. Anyone own one of these? Is the punchdown tool actually any good (say compared to the cheap plastic ones) and can you put SOG tools onto it as I would probably want to switch out a couple of tools?

cheers

The punch down tool is certainly better than the plastic disposable type but if you were doing a lot I'd want to use a dedicated tool with the built in snips on the side.

Quality is as you'd expect the same as its SOG counterpart and as others have said you can fit SOG parts straight to it.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

PT-540 is my EDC I also have a PT-510 when I don't wear my uniform to work. 6 years and I have replaced the Knife blade 1 time and I have just about worn out the leather case. I have learned how to work the 110 punch with ease. I have punched down up to 25 pair when going back for my impact tool was out of the question. Get a SOG and order a replacement 110 punch and save some $$. $125.00 for my PT-540 was crazy seeing as I have never used the 66 punch.

I love the 510, and wish I hadn't sold mine.  I had two and gave one away as it was originally a gift to me, and when I got bored with the other I sold it.  Stupid.  I only wish SOG would get with it and offer the PPP with gear covers.

I am currently looking for a 510, it's certainly going to be my next purchase!
