Bosch Multitool

I am thinking of buying a Bosch multitool (cutter / sander etc). Any views about this or better buys?

Bosch makes a great product, in fact they are my favorite power tool manufacturer.

That having been said it just depends on you.  I bought a multifunction tool from Harbor freight and i love it.  You can get it for $40 and it's a great value.

That is one awesome tool !! I have no idea how I got along without one !! I remodeled a bathroom and hallway, electrical boxes, cutting 2x4 studs out, and it was a very good investment. Get one today !! There is usually a coupon in the weekly junk mail for Harbor Freights and save !!

I bought a no Name tool similar to teh Bosch one and it sucked. The tool got hot, it vibrated much more and it was noisier, too.

The Bosch Tool is a nice Tool when laying Laminate flooring, building kitchens or furniture.

I see only limited use for shop/metalwork for it.

Oh, wait: Dremel sells a cordless one, which is a re-Badged Bosch one, so the tools should interchange. Dremel sells a nice Jigsaw blade holer that could be a nice tool for cutting out handles and liners.
