Got a Micra at Target for 12 bucks.

Having worked for Target a few years ago when i first got married i know how their clearance markdowns go. They usually throw all the clearance crap on a back endcap and let it sit at 15% off for 2 weeks then 30% for a week or so and then back to back weeks of 50-75% off. I've been watching the sporting goods department and was able to snag a Micra and a blue led minimag for cheap. Usually the early morning crew snags all the good stuff before the store opens but i lucked out today. It is the regular shiny metal Micra not colored.

Seems to be well made and will be replacing my old tired SAK minichamp on my keychain.

Might be worthwhile to check out Target if you are close to one.

Arn't final clearances one the very few things that any given retail store in a chain has under their discretion?

(I used to be given one end with which to show clearance items, and was allowed to choose ticket price.

All other price and showspace was controlled by The Powers That Be in some office far far away, or the reps for the various brands)

I say this because it makes me believe you're not too likely to find the same deal at another Target.

This being my first Leatherman i can honestly say i am impressed with the sturdiness of this little MT.  The tweezers being attached will aid me in not losing them as i always did with my SAKs. The scissors are razor sharp and the fit and finish are on par with my expectations. I could have used one in the military to sight in my Leupold. Darn thing always needed slight adjustments after a few rounds of .300 win mag and that little extention that is labeled for philips only would have done the trick.

My local Walmart store have the Micra for $14, Miami Fl.
There's a Super Target inside the Sawgrass Mills mall but they don't have Micras, the rest of the Leatherman tools are on normal price.
