I was just curious how many of you have actually gotten the skeletool?  Either model.

Not I.

What's with all these Skele threads?

Where's the love for the tools we know and trust?

I don't understand how anyone can call the Skeletool a Multi, it doesn't have a Reamer or a Lever.

While we're here though - (and I could equally put this in any of the other twenty Skele threads) - How handy is the carabiner for carry? Does anyone clip it to a belt loop? is it good like that?

I am still undecided about the skeletool.  I dont think I will make up my mind until I get to see one and handle it myself. It appears as if the freestyle is going to be a much cheaper way to try out the new design, but it probably will not be out until May.  the kick with the clip attached would seem to be a more practical EDC and has a much more appealling price tag.

I agree on being undecided Tsquare.  I really like the concept and when I get one, I'll EDC it for a while.  It might do well at work since I don't do heavy stuff much more, but I'm disappointed in the size of it.  I was really wishing (assumed actually) that it would be the size of a regular tool.  The size is similar, but the pliers are tiny like the juice.  They don't look like they could handle anything more than a juice.  Still, I'm going to get one when they show up around my area and try one out.  I hope it's worth the wait/weight.

Mine just came in today!  Very fast service from www.tylertool.com.  I ordered Thursday and it came today.  So far so good.  It seems to be about the same dimensions as my swisstool, but I really like the one hand blade option with the Skeletool.  The pivot screw that holds the pocket clip is loose enough to unscrew by hand (no tools), so I'll need to tighten that down a little more when I get back to my shop.

Mine came today as well. I'll take some pics a little later. I haven't had much time to mess with it. But so for I like it. It's longer than I though but really light and thin. The thumb hole on the blade is a little rough and you can see some machine marks on it. Something I wouldn't expect for LM. I like the way the pliers snap open like the SwissTool. That's something different for LM. More thoughts when I have some time to play with it.

I'm waiting for the kick-off on the group buy here :multi:

Any fear of the slim clip damaging car seats and couches? It looks like the clip would leave a nice hole!

After finding out the freestyle is going to be bit adaptor compatible I am leaning toward it more.  I hope the CRKT multitools come out before too long.  The freestyle seems like it will be bead blasted finish as best as I can tell from the pix on the site.
