He's asking for a list of SAKs with special inlays. There are a few models that have an extra inlay image like the Space Shuttle for example.

SAKwiki does not have a section specific on scales, getting into special inlays of graphics on the scales is a huge field.

You can browser the photo galleries, but there is no specific listing.  There are litterly thousands of different icons and pictures on the scales.  Many are for advertising, but many are special items, and some of them were regular features for some time.

You'll have to be more specific in your question to get and direction, and narrow down exactly what you are looking for.

I think a section like that would be a great addition to SAKWiki. How about narrowing it down to special items/regular features only? Do you think that would be doable?
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I'm interested in such a list because it looks like an exciting area of ??collection. I think it would be great with a list on SAKWiki.

I think that such a list can be made, as long as it concerns only the stock pictures and inlays. As for the other pictures (company logos, flags, other custom orders) it would be very difficult.

I'd agree with that, anything that Vic has sold as a regular item and not done on behalf of someone else.  Ranger and Camper with "Camper" inlay for example.

Many of the Victorinox inlaid Icons are individually pictured in the 91mm Photo Gallery on SAKwiki.  This covers things like the Fish, the Astronaut, the Camping variations, and stuff like that, it is not organized nor does it show all the variations in these icons.  There are the Zodiac inlays as well from the 58mm series.

Eventually we need something on scales that covers Cellidor, Wood, Alox, Nylon, DD, etc. and that would be a natural place to link of the specific icons and shield variations. Anyone that wants to put something together can go to it, we'll try our best to give it a nice home on the Wiki.  Right now I can't get people to report errors or correct simple typos, let alone something bigger.  Now that the site is a a certain stage it's also important to consider how to integrate new features into the interface.  We still have a lot of work to do on the Wenger knives to bring the information up to the same level as the Victorinox models.

Here's a nice photo of some of the more normal inlaid Victorinox logos.
From the Swiss Army Knife Owner's Manual.  This book is still available for sale on it's own web site.

More from the SAK manual -
The emblem on Wenger’s early Officers was a metal cross in a
metal curved-triangle “federal shield”, then a metal cross with Suisse in the
metal shield; then on a red plastic shield a metal crossbow, then a crossbow
and Suisse; in the 1920s some had a white plastic cross on a red plastic
shield; in the ’30s, on a handle now of plastic rather than fiber: silver-color
crossbow and Suisse on the blackened background of a metal federal
shield; ’40s: silver-color Swiss cross on this shield; ’50s: the background
of the shield made silver color; ’60s: shield background red. Since the
1970s Wenger’s grip emblem on their “civilian” line has been a white Swiss
cross in a quadrilaterally symmetric rounded square; in the ’80s the red of
the shield went from enameled dark red to anodized orangeish-red. The
Victorinox handle emblem is a silver Swiss cross on a bilaterally symmetric
5-pointed shield. The white “Swiss Cross” (or “Federal Cross”) by national
law has arms 1/6 longer than their width, extending from a center square.
Some Elinox SAKs had an inlaid metal emblem of a silver cross on a red
federal shield. On the Economy line (“Economy” on the back of the tang
in place of the crossbow and cross) and on some Elinoxes and Victorinoxes
the emblem was heat-printed, not inlaid metal. Knives with the printed
emblem generally did not have toothpick and tweezers; some of these had
handles of an oranger shade of red than the Victoria and Victorinox.

Hi, welcome to Multitool.

Some obvious additions would include the the Battle series, Space Shuttle, and Apollo Moon Landing with astronaut. A related series would be those with photo images of different locations. Those include knives for Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Argentina, Taiwan, etc.
