Hi folks, thought I'd take a second and introduce myself for the first time. A couple months ago I bought a house for my girlfriend and I. After telling her that I'd always sort of wanted a multitool, she suggested that I finally do so and put it to use on the house. While looking for the "best" option, I found this forum and started following it. Ultimately I got a Leatherman Wave, but I liked it so much that after reading more and more of this forum I wanted to try other brands and kinds, and so almost before I knew it, I had picked up a couple more Leathermans, a SOG or two, and a Gerber. All of which are pretty good, by the way, although none quite as nice as my original Wave.

I wasn't sold on the idea of a SAK at the beginning, somehow I just didn't imagine they could be as useful in such a small package. But somewhere along the line I decided to give them a go: I had to give a fair sampling of course, so I invested in a Vic Cadet, Vic Adventurer, and Wenger Teton. I was impressed, and my little collection has developed somewhat since that day. So now I'm just starting down the road of being a happy little SAK collector.

I've seen it a thousand times in other people's posts, and they're completely right: it's all you guys' fault!

This is a great little community and I'm happy to be at least a tiny bit a part of it now.
