I like the BG related items. Love the colours, grippy textures, etc.

You can say I am a fan.  :D

A little Leatherman information.

I have to admit I've not come across the compact fixed blade before, I'm thinking it's new.  I don't know if you know that the blade and screwdrivers on the pocket tool are non-locking apparently, though I've not actually held one myself.  Might make a difference to you.

Thanks, I did not notice that, but the blade is one-hand and that give an extra point compared with SAK,

This is probably a little late but here it comes anyway.
I got the BG pocket tool a while back and was not happy with it.
It was impossible to open the tools on it. The blade opened fairly easily, but I had to use my SAK to break open the other tools on it. I tried to oil it up, but it did'nt help much.
I really liked the consept of a small onehand opening pocket knife with a good phillips that opens on the end, but the result was disapointing. (It might be that mine is a faulty one and I was just bad luck)  I would rather get a SAK or one of the leatherman crater models if you want one hand openeing.

I believe its a faulty one, mine works fine, you could exchange it in the store you get it, or you send it to Gerber warranty that has a very good service.

I bought it on ebay. I would probably have to ship it to portland oregon, like they told me to do with my crusial when the flat driver broke. (wich was  sad, because I really loved that Crusial  ) The shipping costs would be too much to be worth repairing it. Maybe I will group the two together in one package and send them in for repair. Would be nice to get that Crusial back in order.
