Ok, I've had a few cheap Target LED lights that for how tony they are, ended up brighter than my old MagLite, so I tossed it. Did my research and got a Olight M20SX 500 Lumens XML emitter not bad but I gifted it to my brother. I settled on a Sunwayman T40CS XML U2, 845 Lumens certain other Flashlight forums have done extensive review with the 788 Lumens version which beats more expensive models in its class. My new version is the same T40CS only a new 845 Lumen LED it was an "inline" change done my Sunwayman. I got the newest version, its amazing. Plus the Klarus XT 11 cool neutral white light very smooth. Best UI on the market dual switch tail cap. As you can see in the pics also some 3100mah EagleTac 18650 batteries made by Panasonic, and a Sysmax Intelli Charger that charges every kind of battery. I went for high grade to shelf quality stuff. I think I did good. Just as addicting as multitools because what use are the multitools if you don't have a good light.

A beam its more of a roman column of thick light. Its hard to even describe the beam. On the T40CS it has enough spill to illuminate everything immediately infront of you for over 30 feet, then the solid beam makes everything else just Too bright for 500 yards its been tested by pros on other forums and it meets or exceeds the manufacturers claims, and they tested the early version with just 788 lumens and a XML T6 emitter, mine was made a month or two ago using the Premium XML U2 emitter better color beam and 845 Lumens.

On the Klarus XT11 still has nice beam but no where near the T40CS, I got the T40CS because it is smaller then my old 2 D cell MagLite that I carried everywhere.

Only problem with these two is at 600 Lumens and 845 Lumens do not use them indoors at night, you will blind yourself.  Also the strobe on the Klarus XT 11 is randomized it will disorient  and wild dog or animal immediately.

I have a cheap Fenix E21 150 Lumens uses two AA and that what I use everyday by my bed.

Nice haul. Well this is odd, I had the same batts and charger arrive for me last week, but I had four 18650s as I also got a Skyray King that has 3 off XML Leds and puts out over 2K Lumen on high  :D

Nice but are you landing small planes with 2000 Lumens, At 845 and 600 lumens these are barely useable indoor.

I almost regret buying the Sunwayman because I'll never use it. But its such an awesome piece of gear theres no way I am giving it up.
