Anyone else carry a Classic to compliment your EDC?

I've had a Classic attached to my keying for years as a backup, but i had it mainly for the scissors to compliment my Spartan. Does anyone else here carry a Classic on their keying for the scissors? I would prefer to carry one EDC with everything I need, but my favorite two layer EDC SAK don't include scissors.

Dont carry a Classic,but I do usually have a Manager to hand.

Not a Classic, but an Executive. It's my TRUE EDC knife. It doesn't go on airplanes and in courthouses, and that's about it.

I currently keep an Alox Classic SD on my house keys; my car keys are bare, simply because I don't like added weight and jingling.

I always carry a Rambler on my keys. The blade opens out away from the key ring, not toward it as in the classic.

I've had a Swiss Card in my wallet for the past 12 years. Basically like having a Classic. always there when you need it.

I have considered the classic, as it's probably the most useful-by-weight MT in the world, but I use Scissors more than any other implement, and the ones on the Classic are too small for my taste, and it's not really worth carrying a classic if I'm already carrying a SOG Crosscut.

But I think it's a great tool, and my hubby carried one for a LONG time, not as a compliment, but it was the ONLY thing he EDCed.

Although back with a micra at the moment i have carried on my keys a classic for years,oddly though ive got a alox handled Cak ive had for a couple of years and really like it as it has still got tweezers and toothpick plus its build is pretty good, ive lost a few scales on my other classics over time,

Wish vic would do a alox classic with Toothpick & Tweezers

I was considering a Classic for my wife at some point in the future.

I had a Classic, but the spring on the scissors broke off. So I sold it. Now I have a Signature.

I carry a Classic on my keys, to compliment my EDC Huntsman - the smaller scissors seem better able to cut nails etc.

While I do carry a 58mm SAK a lot, it's not often a Classic.

In my defence my good wife has "borrowed" my ruby Classic and seems reluctant to give it back.

I did pick up a nice yellow scaled one recently though and that's seen quite a bit of use already. More often I carry a Rambler, Companion or Mini-Champ though.

The only 58 I like is the manager. A pen is much more useful to me than a toothpick. I think that's the only difference from a rambler.

I'll look into that now. If that's the only difference than I'll pick one up today. I love the stayglow Rambler, but I agree a pen would be much more useful.

Probably not attached to the keys though. I wonder if I could get stayglow pen scales for it.

I got a Classic on a lark (it was only $8). I always thought the weeny scissors wouldn't be useful. The Classic has surprised me. Those weeny scissors are REALLY good (I almost never use my full sized SAK scissors because the classic can do the job). The mini driver on the file has quite a reach and works on flat and phillips heads. The knife is sharp and sturdy and has been used to open boxes, cut rope, etc.

Right now I have the classic on a Quark Mini AA.. it acts as sort of a lanyard so I won't lose the light.

Buy a Classic and just try using it for EVERYTHING instead of you full sized SAK or MT. It'll surprise you.

Go on, buy it and try it.
