How rare are motorists?

I bought a mechanic (as listed) and it shows up and well it's a motorists! Economy scales but the knife is like new. All I see in sakwiki is that's it's discontinued. Any more info on these?

Which version of the Motorist? What are the tools? Since it was sold as a Mechanic, I presume it is the newer version with Pliers, but no narrow in-line screwdriver?

Yes pliers and no inline. But it does have the hook and mini SD on back tools. Economy scales.

No precise answer Jazzbass would probably know, but they are not very common, and because of that are often mislabled on ebay. When labeled correctly they seem to fetch a pretty good dollar. The Economy scales seem to be standard, so I'm guessing these were a special issue some distributor had requested.

Definetly worth holding onto or selling on ebay with the correct description.

Huh, seems I have one, bought it pretty quickly when I found one from my favorite eBay seller. The tiny channel lock pliers are VERY interesting.

Not common for sure, it was my first ever SAK, I lost it and never came across a replacement (although I didn't look too hard).

Ok here's a feeler. Anyone interested in buying this sak? I was going to use it as parts but since it's a discontinued model and somewhat rare I really don't want to tear it apart. I took some better photos of it but I have I upload them.

I would very much like to buy it if you would be prepared to ship to the uk.
Especially as I am not having much luck getting my old one repaired.
