Dealextreme...?

Does anyone have experience with this site/store? www.dealextreme.com

It seems that they ship worldwide for free and have some cool stuff to offer. Does anyone know if it is a trustable site to deal with? I never heard of it and came a cross it surfing the web for a flashlight.

I heard it takes a month to get your stuff and the quality veries but the prices are low.

It can take a while to get your stuff, but I have had things arrive in under a week.

Personally I think it's a great site, just received 30 Fauxton lights from there, but I'v ehad batteries, cheapo lights, lasers and all sorts.

The way they works is they have almost no inventory on hand, so when you place an order, they go buy from their source then mail it out. Low overhead to keep price down, but also means may takes a while. Waiting time can vary from a bit over a week to a month, thou usually it's two weeks.

They do sell some absolute rubbish as well as great bargains so check out the reviews and try to stick to highly recommended stuff. And yeah, be prepared to wait!

Overall, I'm really happy with their service. Have some button compasses which were useless so they sent out more free of charge.

I noticed that they sell lots of cheap garbage but like you all said, it cheap and free schipping  So a little wait is no problem in this case, I just wanted to know if the deliver at all. And if it is free schipping indeed.

But it sounds I can order from them witout losing my money. It just takes time to get it in, right?

I've ordered numerous things from D.E. (I have said it a hundred times....Im cheap).  It is a trustworthy site,  buy items that have been reviewed a few times so you know the quality.

One of my favorite sites. Customer service is also pretty good when things go wrong. I bought a big batch of those peanut lighters from them, one of them had a spoilt O-ring, and they replaced it promptly. Items ship out of Hong Kong, so if you are in Europe, will take a while. I get my stuff usually in about 2 weeks, but I'm near them.

Ha! Well, I keep the Fenix's in good shape and throw the cheap things in to the car etc... doesn't hurt to have cheap back up!

Shipping time really depends on where you live.

When the stuff I order leaves Hong Kong I have it in my hands 3 or 4 days later.
The longest I've waited for anything so far has been 17 days from ordering to receiving the product.

Oddly enough it is almost twice as fast for me to order the same item from Hong Kong than it is from the US
