I Beam Phillips in Old Wave?

HAs anyone tried to fit one to an old style Wave? Was thinking about it to then be able to use the Leatherman 931012 6 Piece Bit Kit Drivers. What is the thickness of the Phillips bit at the end inside the Wave? Thanks for any help any one can offer!

Not sure about the width but since they don't lock in the old Wave and the pivot end may be a bit different then it is going to take some grinding to make it fit :think:

And then after that, the square Phillips may not allow the tool to close :think:

I have never tried this but just trying to think of problems before hand :salute: This may be why LM redesign the old style Wave to begun with :ahhh

Thanks for the reply!   You do make some good points. Another option I think would work better would be use one of the flat screwdriver blades to fit diagonally in the bit adapter. That would be quite solid.

I have seen some use a flat driver :salute: but I wouldn't probably use it to hard in fear it would twist or snap the driver off :ahhh
