Anyone interested in a Nor Cal meetup?

Okay, so I'm in the SF Bay area, and Know we have some other members in the Northern California area.  I think the Captain is in the Sacramento area, and I've read some posts indicating there are some members down in the San Jose area.

Anyone interested?

Im interested depending on the location.     a Norcal meetup would be pretty sweet.

Okay, well, I'll monitor this thread and see if we get any other interest.  Not that I've got a huge collection of tools/SAKs/torches myself, but I still think it would be fun.

If we get enough people, I'll start looking into a place to hold it.  I'm sure there are places where we could do it that wouldn't charge anything, just have to look around.

Where you at J?  I was born in St. Joseph, right next to the big Michi-game...

I'm in the northern lower peninsula, near traverse city. The biggest difference between here and St Joe is that here the salmon start biting about a month later.

Sorry for not paying attention to this thread in a while... I guess there's not enough of us in this area to make it work out for a 'real' meet-up.

Sounds pretty cool J... I think I was up in that area once or twice when I was little... so little that I can't really remember for sure. 

But, my first camp-outs ever were in MI and once I even went to Big M for a camping trip.  What I'm used to now though, makes it look like a molehill...    But, I still owe my love of camping and the outdoors to those times when I was a kid back in Michigan.     Still have some family there too, in fact.

Well, if I'm ever back in the area, I'll let you know!  Not sure when it might happen though... if I get a job interview somewhere around there perhaps!
