Never had a Peak myself, but that's definitely something that shouldn't have gotten through QC in my opinion.Send them the same pics you posted here and ask for an RMA and a replacement.
That doesn't look right at all. Where did you order it from?

Let us know how it works out. (I feel sort of personally responsible, since I also recommended the Peak lights to you.)
They did respond promptly and are shipping me out a new one, with a prepaid envelope to return this one. Cant complain about the support at all. He promised to inspect this next one personally. I will update with comparison photos when the new one arrives.Cheers
