Would water harm a Spartan lite

I got a spartan lite recently but never thought about this aspect, as i will have to get it wet at some point (to wash it after use). Does any of you know if this is going to damage the LED? Any experience to share???

Water doesn't harm the electronics, but remove the battery ASAP when it gets wet (and before rinsing). Simple as that. I have had several Vics with flashlight wet and also rinsed them out with water, no problem, and Vic says it is supposed to be OK.

In other words, nothing to worry about.
