Nice! For my taste, I need wider wire strippers!
Now that I think of it, you gave a new meaning to the word "stripper" dks.

Was this early Wenger emblem (red) really inspired by the profile of the Matterhorn (blue)?

Yes, you are right.
Here is the same emblem from a old Wenger knife.
I managed to salvage the blade, because the rest of the knife was too damaged for repair.

I believe that these two Swiss Knives below are Art.
The first is the Victorinox Spartan customized from the famous Swiss watchmaker Michel Jordi.

The second is the Victorinox fileworked Farmer from the collaboration of Swissbianco with Tom Stratton.
A beautifull piece.

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

Here's one source, though I think I've seen them for less.

http://budk.com/product/Camping-Survival/Camp-Utensils/Swiss-BBQ-Bayonet-w-Scabbard-Like-New/pc/2967/c/0/sc/3567/173860.uts

The story is that some German company bought a bunch of old Swiss STGW 57 bayonets and converted them to "Swiss Combat Knives". They then found out the knives couldn't reimported back into Switzerland. Some were sold in this country (believe Felinevet had one at one time), and others were further converted into Swiss Army BBQ forks.

“Swiss Peace Knife”,  Qian Jiang, Yiying Wu and Carolina Flores.

They redesigned this multifunction knife into a handy pocket tool that comes equipped with a pill box, bandages, disinfectant spray and whistle.

What? Didn't they know that a Victorinox SOS kit has all these items plus a lot more?
And that it is a TOOL and not a WEAPON?

Nice and interesting though. It provides a place to add TNT for Alox babies.

Just like any other latte sipping, cross legged, hugging, trendy leftie, do-gooder.  Anything sharper than a breadstick and they consider it a WMD.  Give it a generation or two and you'll be able to have a reign of terror armed with a balloon on a stick. What a bunch of pussies we're raising.

I love the AUS use of the term "do-gooder."  It is such a perfect way to describe the halo polishing folk.
Lurking with a large collection of sharp knives!

In someways they are a blessing. You get away with stuff because no one thinks people do it.

I'm not sure I know the correct English expression but I'm sure you understand.
Anyway, T&T is Tn'T but for me TNT also. And Vics are dynamite. You all know what I mean.

Your English is far better than my Greek, or any other second language. I have a rather poor acquaintance with German.

Vics (and Wengers) are definitely dynamite.
