Carbon fiber Swiss Champ scales question
on: October 02, 2012, 01:00:44 AM
I was wanting to know if it is possible to do carbon fiber as a scale material on the Swiss Champ. Has anyone done this before? If so, how did you do it? I found scale material on knifekits.com that might work. Any ideas? BTW, I'm not the handy type and have no idea where to start. I have read threads on scale mods but I do not know how to go about shaping the material or applying it. Would someone be willing to do this for me?

I remember talking to Bushidomosquito about this once. Supposedly they're simple to make. Plenty of people here have done them, and I think all that you really need is a jeweler's saw and some mini files to shape them, and a drill for the bushing holes. Good luck!
