I'm again facing a dilemma..... :D

I guess I want to buy one of these in the future, but they're so alike and I like both so much that I can't decide which one to choose.....

I carry a Fenix E15 when I need a small flashlight with multiple brightness levels and a decently high "medium" setting as the default.

The brightness levels and tint are splendid and I prefer that the default setting is brighter than that on most other multimode lights.  I like the lanyard attachment point, through which I installed a small split ring, then a short length of paracord.  It can tail stand easily.

My only complaint so far is that my E15 is hard to use with just one hand.  It is difficult to change modes when using only one hand due to the higher amount of torque required.  Other than that, the quality is very good and I think it is smaller than the Olight model.

Do you have a good source of CR123s in Bulgaria? They're very pricey here $6,50 per battery over here (for a no name call) and you can't order them from the US anymore. And neither of those two is recommended on RCR123.

@parnass, okaaay, it's good to know that one-hand operation takes some effort... lol

@enki, haha, this is my only "against" either of those lights, grrrrr :D I'm not sure, I've only seen that such are sold online for 2.5 Euro. I keep forgetting to check if they're sold in the shops I use ...  But the Olight at least comes with a battery..

I have owned both. I have given away 3 of the E15 lights as gifts for automotive FA kits. Currently own only one E15. The I1 fogged up internally in my pocket from sweat after a few weeks of carry. All of the E15's arrived with rough threads. And one with a waaaay off center emitter. The threads were fixed with a old toothbrush and Brasso used lightly on the offending aluminum body threads. That made a MAJOR improvement. In the E15 defense all of the lights had a wonderful tint and the constant current driver makes for really good runtimes. No PWM.
Other contenders are the Thrunite T20 and the Spark SK3. I chose the Spark SK3 because it looks so cool, imo , and takes a RCR123. I like to pop a RCR123 in the SK3 around the house and use a primary CR123 when out and about. The bad thing about the SK3 is the provided o-rings are too small and have to be replaced before immersion or sweat making work on the farm. After that the SK3 is my new fav. I really like twisty lights, can you tell?
Yeah, you right...
