Was that an AA or AAA though? i seem to remember when looking at it only last year? that it seemed like a really good? adavance? small light? It was 4 sevens equivalent to the Fenix AAA lights, had a lot of different settings etc. What 4 sevens lights have been discontinued in the past 12 months? Maybe it was the preon revo, the name does not ring a bell though.

I could be wrong though, my recollection is a little hazy on the subject.
I'm a bot disappointed by 47s in the last few years, they used to be one of my favourite brands.
As for the AAA recommendation, what modes are you looking for? does it have to have the SOS and strobe modes or can it just have low, medium, high and in what mod would you like to have it start, high or low. does it have to be SS or aluminium? Would you like your beam to be more floody or have more throw? Olight i3 is a very good option IMO.
i am not really sure what i want, other than good qualty AAA and key chain capable. I would prefer aluminium if its hard annodized. SS would probably be a bit weighty. I know you cant really have a a bright light with lots of light and also have a long run time but something that sort of offers the best of both worlds would be good. Actually i would probably lean slightly towards a brighter light as i am getting a photon to go on my keys too.I dont want to buy second hand either. probably dont need strobe function but if it has got it then thats fine by me.Is there some sort of buyers guide on recent AAA lights?
