I've been thinking about changing mine, but I really haven't had time to sit down and make a new one.

I updated mine when I got around to doing a photoshoot with my newest addition to my Bobafettish...

It was taken when I did these:

yeah my new avatar is rather subtle vs my older ones (further back in this thread) and I usually tried to integrate a MTO Multitool in the pic, but it's so small a space to work with the detail gets lost when shrunk down...

I've had the pirate girl image for a while now and those of you who are on my Facebook friends list will recognise it from there as well , it's from a p.c role playing game called Age of Pirates Caribbean tales. It's an image I've really grown to like and earlier this year I took the plunge and had it done as a tattoo.

My avatar is of a round sign someone bought for me ages ago. One of my many nicknames over the years was Hog Wild, or Hawg Wild.  She saw this and immediately thought of me.  Still not sure if that's good or bad.

Really cool avatars, guys!

Mine is "The Eye"... of a Red-eyed Tree Frog ;) I've been using that for almost 10 years now (started at Sacred game forum in 2004)

I just love those frogs :D

Mine is still the puddle of mercury.  I changed it to a mercury symbol awhile back but I didn't really care for that so I changed it back.  I have thought about changing it again but I never get around to it.

It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

don't think it needs an explanation

It was an old thread. Just found it. And you couldn't have nicked the idea if you never saw it. So I think it's more a case of great minds thinking alike. ;)

I remember you changing it a while back and how it threw me off of recognizing you (even though the name is the same, I always associate initially by the avatar if I have seen it enough).  I've thought about changing mine as well, but for that same reason I'm not sure I should...

Mine is a small crop from a cartoon of a friend and I checking out the Giant Cowboy in Airdrie a few years ago. I've always liked that sketch, even if it is barely more than a doodle.

Mine's some artsy photo I took of my skeletool CX when they first came out, almost a design revolution with its curvy holey frame.

Now that I think about it, that was quite a few years ago, might need to find a new avatar.

I feel completely the same. When people change there avatar it throws me off. I have changed mine a few times, but let it rest on the current one.  :tu:

It would just be weird if I changed it!  :P

Mine is my Wenger evogrip s18 in front of Taughannock falls. I went so long without an avatar here that when I took that I decided it would be a good picture as it captures my love of nature and knives.
