A belt case for the Leatherman Freestyle and Skeletool
on: December 24, 2012, 03:54:45 PM
Not sure if this has been mentioned on the forums before but I notice last night that my Freestyle CX fits perfectly into the case for the Leatherman Juice even with the pocket clip still attached. Small end down, large end up and it is easy to insert, easy to remove.

I usually like my Freestyle loose in my pocket or occasionally clipped to my pocket but with some pants a belt sheath may be prefered.

The Skeletool does well in the Leatherman grey and black nylon knife sheath too. Not a perfect fit as the shape is a bit off but over time I am sure the sheath will mold to what is inside of it and there is room for at least one of the "bit kit" cards. I have the full bit set but find most of what is needed on a daily basis (flat/Phillips/Torx) can be consolidated onto a single card especially since two bits (four tips) are already on the Skeletool itself.

Seconded. I lost my modded Freestyle, which was very dear to me, while pocket carrying. A sheath is much needed in my opinion.

Okay, so much for self discovery. I noticed that the Leatherman website lists the Freestyle as one of the tools that fits the Juice case. I thought I was on to something.
