Hello all, I've got an idea bouncing around my head, but I'm not sure if it's smart or how difficult it would be. Basically I want a very pocket friendly multitool knife, with the emphasis on knife and pliers. "Buy a Skeletool!" you're yelling to me right now. Well I just don't really like the design of the Skeletool, I want something cleaner, and I also don't need such robust pliers. So in my search of Victorinox and Wegner knifes I've found the Skipper, which has everything I want (the knife, the pliers, the screwdrivers), but also a lot of stuff I don't want (the marlin spike, corkscrew, etc). So, obviously my question is how difficult is it to modify these SAK's (compared to the classic styles), or if there's another, better option that I should look at.
I've also been looking the Trekker models which, with their one-hand opening blades, would really be the bees-knees if I could slip a pair of pliers into one. Can you buy SAK pliers separately someplace?
