What did you use your Sak on today?

Used the fish scaler on my cellidor mod as a little fork to eat some beef steak nuggets.  Didn't have to but wanted to;)

I just used the Executive to open two letters from the tax office. I don't owe any extra taxes this year. After paying cca $1000 last year and the year before this is excellent news.

Oh well, at least you don't have to pay in, which is always a big plus   I've had to do that in the past and both times it was unexpected due to my own ignorance, with the first time being rather hefty for me and my meager bachelor finances (that was several years ago).  Fortunately I hadn't developed a liking for MTs/SAKs back then, as I would have been more broke than I was

I invested a lot in new office equipment last and this year which was considered a tax deduction but the cost of a new wifi laser printer, 26in monitor, new ac unit, smartphone, ... (a lot of things died on me this year ) prevents me in spending more money on shiny stuff.

Yeah I hate when things like that happen.  Vehicle maintenance/repairs are a big one.  Stinking responsibilities

Bit late with this ... but was deeply grateful last weekend for the excellent flat blade tweezers on my Rucksack whilst moving some rough edged plywood. I had forgotten how useful SAK tweezers could be for removing a deep splinter from under your fingernail !

Yesterday i helped my uncle to prune a lemon tree in his garden.
A big branch gain my attention, i thought it would be perfect for a stick.
So today i started peeling the outer bark with the help of my Stayglow Climber.
I'll leave it for a month to harden the wood, and then i shall proceed with the carving.

Just used the scissors on my Yeochamp to cut down some balloons from my oldest daughter's 13th bday party.  She used the awl on my Rebar to pop them;)

Used the multipurpose hook to lift the dirty grate from a grill them later on I used the fish scaler to set off an animal trap to test if it worked. I guess the least favored tools came in handy today.

Thanks I'm trying to catch two stray kittens in my back yard. I already caught one of the other kittens and the mother. I haven't used these traps since a raccoon was in the barn behind my house so I was testing them out. And of course I would rather test the trap out with a fisher scaler instead of my hand.

I used my Yeochamp a bit today.  Used the scissors to cut out some archive box number label stickers, and the pen on it to write those numbers down in the archiving log.  I also used the toothpick for well, a toothpick

Now I'm carrying my Mechaneer, and I used that to break down some cardboard boxes.

Bunch of small tasks today with the Troubleshooter. Been carrying it a bit more lately.

Anyway, used SAK pliers for the first real time today. Used them to uncrimp a brake cable end and recrimp a new one while doing some parts swapping on my bicycle.

Kind of at the edge of SAK plier usefulness since there is not much leverage with them. Worked though.

Installing a new light switch below an existing one, I used the power jigsaw for the vertical cuts for the hole in the drywall but remembered there might be wiring running vertically thru here so did the horizontal cuts with my SwissChamp's wood saw both to control its depth and not to buzz into wire at high speed. Good thing I did.

The pen on my Yeochamp got used today, but by my wife.  While grocery shopping, she asked me if I had a pen as I usually have my tacpen on me, but it won't fit properly in my shorts.  Luckily I had the Yeochamp pen to offer, although she rolled her eyes, she still used it to cross items off the list
