I didn't feel like ordering the leatherman extender, so I made my own. Dewalt magnetic 1/4" extension + bench grinder + metal file = new tool (toy).  >:D

They really are a very handy bit of kit. :tu:  Nice job.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Yep. Now instead of needing leatherman specific bits, I can use the hundreds of 1/4" hex bits I've accumulated over the years of being an auto tech.

Very nice!¡! I have one of those that I use with my Crunch so I don't have to cut it down.

I made the same extender from my Wave a few weeks ago. My wife got me a bit extender from Leatherman for Christmas and it is awesome!!! Well worth the $6 or so it costs. It fits the Leatherman bits and standard 1/4" hex bits. It also carries nicely in the sheath. Plus it is longer than a standard bit extender. If you haven't tried a Leatherman one its lightly recommended.

I may still get the extender from lm, but until then this functions perfectly.

Good job  :tu: I've made a few mods for waves/charges over the years and made a 1/4 adapter the other week for more options  :tu:
