Has anyone seen this? This is kinda cool. Although I don't know if the blade locks.

We got to play with them at the SHOT Show, but they were still just prototypes.  I don't think the design has been finalized yet, but I'm pretty certain it will be a slippie like the Guppie model.  The designers at ID Works are very conscious of folks living in places where locking blades are a no no.

Personally I'd prefer to see a liner lock on the Guppie, but they purposely didn't include one for European buyers.  If you want to encourage that practice, buy a Guppie and Li'l Guppie! :D

It's not an ultra super primo steel, but I've found it sufficient.

I know, it's not impressive on paper, but bear in mind it is a very tiny occasional use blade, and so really doesn't require a higher performance steel.  It's going to go on the shelves at Wal Mart and compete with the Chinese POS knives at Christmas, and maybe get folks in the habit of purchasing a better, brand name product.
