I was just about to take an ALX apart the old fashioned way when I remembered I had some universal wrenches that could work better than any pliers. The screws came off without a scratch to the BO and the screws themselves are also intact. Tools used: Pocketwrench II and a Wenger Universal Wrench tool on my Wenger Urban. (Have a look at the Black Tide-thread by Metro, he's done quite a good walkthrough on a wave, which is practically the same)
