Saw this at Lowes Garden Center this AM ,http://lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=288387-63731-MT%205911D&lpage=none

Looked like the LM vista, but smaller and cheaper, wondering if anybody else has saw one,got it,or used it?

I'd stick with the Hybrid myself...  Mind you I'd probably get it at only $25 and give it a good run to see how it works.

If price is a concern I'd stick to the Victorinox shears:

It ain't a total POS, but its nowhere near Leatherman quality either. Admittedly I haven't used mine yet, but the little screw that the pruner jaws pivots on looks like it won't stand up to heavy use.  :-\

Why am I not surprised you have one hidden away somewhere! :P

What is the quality of the individual implements on that one?

Whaddya mean hidden away?! I just got it yesterday! :D

It pains me somewhat to admit, but the blade quality don't look too bad. Nicely formed shapes and profiles, good grinding in all cases. The knife blade has a good-looking combination edge and a gut hook on the spine. (Better features than the Leatherman "grafting" blade)

The saw blade is the worst, the teeth on it look rough and crude. :P

(Again though, I haven't tried it on anything)

Yeah, the saw blade doesn't lok that impressive in the picture, which is why I was asking.
