I thought about this as well but the break seems to have happened pretty low and on an angle. The lowest of point of it is only a hair about the nail nick. So if still possible to grind it, would end up being a very tiny driver.

Yeah I know I feel like an idiot for not noticing it earlier. Chances are though I still would have bought it but maybe could have haggled the price down even further.

So should I send it in and take my chances on the new blade style? Or am I better off sticking with this one and hopefully the other drivers will take care of my needs? I do carry a dime with me so maybe the can take care of smaller screws.

Here's an idea; how about reshaping it into an awl?  A sharp/poky thing can be very handy. :tu:
