I know it was still a bargain, but I had a limit.  Not going to get it "at any cost"?

Usually, voyageur itself could go at least up for ~$100-200, when correctly labeled! :ahhh

Lurking with a large collection of sharp knives!

Nice!
The seller states though there's "something wrong" with each knife.

I won't bid on a Voyageur unless it's a red one. ::)
Say my name.

Yeah,  the "something wrong" is what made me decide on $60 incl postage as my maximum.

Probably find the Voyageur was the one that needed "cleaning".    :facepalm:

I try to be philosophical when I miss a great ebay deal... I just assume that the other person was prepared to go way higher and still wouldn't have got it!

Saying that, I did it a couple of days ago when I was watching TV, laptop right in front of me and I forgot to bid at the last minute. A brand new Kelty backpack went for £5 :facepalm:

I hate that, I feel so DUMB when I forget to bid on something that ends up selling for way less than I would have bid.

In my mind the Voyageur is the one biggest reason for NOT discontinuing the 84mm scissors - it's what the Cadet should have been

IF the Bantam I bought from DX ever turns up, it might get my pair of 84mm Vic scissors grafted into it rather than them going into the Cadet as I had planned.
