AA & CR123 Copper Maratac

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Now i really want that CR123 light.

Hopefully the UK based shop 'Survival Depot' will stock these two lights like they have with the copper AAA version.
Pictures of most of my work can be found on my Facebook Page.
Also have a look at my Shapeways Shop and SW Torch Shop for 3D printed items.

Looks like a real winner.  A heafty light, probbaly not a CR123A light for the keychain. The twisting operates like butter.

I think a CR123 light is generally to big for keychain myself, and I include the 4sevens Mini in that.

Perfect for pockets though, and that is where I tend to carry my lights :)

I'm not really a fan of the aesthetics of this new one, but I think they look marvellous together... lovely pic :tu:

Turns out we had some false advertising and the lights have an XP-G LED NOT XM-L. Never trust what you read on the countycomm website.  Still it is a nice light.

125L on a plain old AA alkie for 100 min. is hard to believe...  perhaps it's got an unregulated driver?  Doesn't seem to say in the description, but I don't see how they could get that kind of output for that run time off of an alkie.     I could easily believe 50 min. off a 14500, if it weren't for their little disclaimer at the bottom about not using RCRs.     Now, 100 min. off an L91 is a lot more plausible.

It's a shame too, because a solid copper bodied light is just begging to have a broad voltage driver in it that could handle RCRs and give some mind-bending output, what with all that highly conductive mass to absorb the heat.  Seems like they missed a great opportunity, IMHO.

All that aside, very pretty lights.  My lights are tools for me though, not bling.   ::)
