Having just read a post elsewhere on the forum regarding cable cutter heads on MT's - I've suddenly realised that it no longer exists. Both Gerbers the Evolution and MP600 that came with the cable cutter head are no longer available. How difficult would it be to simply take the head off a cable cutter and fit it onto say a tti or surge?Has anyone attempted this in the past?
Bob did it! I remember seeing a post where he welded blobs of metal onto the cutter heads and then formed it into a MT shape.

It wasn't even easy, he took a pair of side cutters, built up a blob of metal with a welder and then milled and fit them into a SOG compound leverage handle. I think the amount of torque and damage that COULD result in cutting hard wires would bring any MT with folded metal handles to their knees, possible a warranty issue. That being said, I would KILL for a set of side cutters on a MT.
