I've never seen an Explorer. It is considerably thinner than the Cybertool 35. The file layer is 2mm thick. Add approximately 0.5mm for the spacer. So it is about 2.5mm thicker than a Climber. I accept that gladly to have the metal file and especially the file's tip (small Phillips screws, fine prying, cleaning and scratching tool, staple remover, engraving tip, magnetic tip to fish needles and tiny screws, electronic cigarette battery pole adjuster and, of course, nail cleaner).

Black Alox Pioneer (with new black monkey fist lanyard and Photon keychain light both attached to keyring :tu:) and Explorer with new suspension clip.  I must say the clip has worked wonders for carrying the Explorer more comfortably :tu:

I have been on the fence about the clip, could you post a pic ?

Here are better pics;)

Just my usual black Climber:

- Or was I too preoccupied with other thoughts, like: if toast always lands jam side down, and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens when you strap a piece of toast, jam side up, to the back of a cat?

Geez, you're almost convincing me to get one >:D  Does the file come magnetized, or did you do it yourself?  If so, how did you do it?

freshly acquired Old Farmer...

A little pocket worn, (not that there's anything wrong with that) but nice tools, even looks like an unsharpened blade.

@ Monrogue
I magnetized it myself. I have two very strong circular magnets that I use as magnetic counterweights for my Dobsonian 12" telescope. A few one way slips from base to tip do the job. Very useful since I use the tip for small Philips screws that are difficult to pinch with my big fingers.

Lots of cool stuff posted in here lately.

Love that Lumberjack + scissors mod. Been dreaming about one of those for awhile.

Been jammin' this guy lately. Good old black Pioneer.
