I think it's been done, but there's also a rather lovely discontinued model called the Voyageur which is essentially what you are asking for (Image removed from quote.)http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-browse_image.php?imageId=1931
Oh great..Add another thing on my wishlist why don't you?
Personally, I'd go for one layer extra with openers and replace the combo tool with a nailfile. It's not that much thicker but boosts versatility through the roof.A Cadet with scissors basically. The best combination of the 84mm range.

You really ought to collect all your pictures and models and so on on a dedicated site or something. That thread of yours is getting rather long and time consuming to dig through.

I know, it's another thing on my todo list. Im building a small gallery site, with all my examples on, as well as a way for people who have ordered customs to check on status and wait time, and then it will link them to pictures of the finished knife when done. That's my plan at least.
Took you this long to figure that out, ha? We enjoy spending other peoples money.
As beautiful as Robert's work is, I just can't bring myself to call it a "Compact" without the corkscrew and the hook!
