Wenger EvoWood Best of Breed (Poll)

  So want an EvoWood S 557, though the least costly one is $99 at Amazon. Wonder how long we have before these EvoWood start vanishing, or worse the price increases.

  Have seen a few here that prefer other EvoWood models, and am sure the price did play a factor. Whatever you figure makes the best in choice, which two do you consider the best of the others?

  You may wish to elaborate as to how, or why you came to this decision. This is completely voluntary. Although your insight might prod others to get an EvoWood before they become legendary and go the way of the dragon.

  Just looked yours up on the US Amazon and it changed to EvoWood 16. Googling specifically for the 14 went to Australia, Denmark, and The United Kingdom. Weird.

  Yes, works good. They have better product photos from over that way too!    Shipping would be high no doubt. Wonder why North America versions are mostly Phillips drivers?

  Last few bottles of Yellow Tail wine I had my corkscrew all prepped and ready, and it was a twist cap!

I know the feeling.. twist caps are getting more and more common over here as well. And I guess they're practical and so on but it just doesn't feel right! I want my corks!

  Do wished they were more affordable.

  Wonder if one could order EvoWood scales separately? Might look great on the Blackout models.

  Won a Wenger Blackout EvoGrip 63 for their President's Day contest. Am wondering how it would look with them walnut handles. 

  If was able to purchase separately would prolly cost $50+, which wouldn't be worth it to me unless the knife had way more features like the Blackout EvoGrip 10.

  Makes me wonder why a lower model number has more features than a much higher model number.
