So it has Australian Apricot wood? Thought was some of that olive wood you had bought. Turned out nice. Glad you was able to forge it. Was reading up on the kiln method, or an acetylene torch. Seemed more used the kiln/baking method for the stubborn or unknown steels. Is good to see that you have the tenacity of a true craftsman.

I was intending to use olive wood on this, but I had the piece of apricot there and the darker wood seemed a better compliment to the etched grey blade.
