Wenger
on: March 14, 2013, 03:29:10 PM
Well I found out this morning that Wenger is going to be no more, assuming the parent companies name of Victorinox. I don't know why this came as such a shock to be honest, I had figured Wenger's days were up once Victorinox bought them out. Regardless, I haven't been around the MT and SAK world lately to know it until today.

In a sort of homage to Wenger...I have a few photos of part of my Wenger collection.

Did you stop buying Wengers? That might be why they weren't making enough money, you seem like a large portion of most MT companies' sales. :)

Thanks Dan, that's a pretty good assortment including Alox.  I will miss Wenger as well...

Have you got a Wenger Giant?  I would love to see pics of various angles of that if you do.  Its an oddity for sure, but not something Ive seen many photos of.

I never could see the need for a Wenger Giant. Thus I do not have one. Sorry.

Nhoj, that could be it.  :D

For some reason, I'm quite a fan of Wenger's Workman (or Worker) series, their take on Victorinox's Pioneer line.  And as always, Dan, wonderful collection. :salute:
