How I spent my weekend. How about you?

As some may know, we've been doing some major renovations.  Where one of the new bedrooms is (now), the wall had to be opened and a window removed.  But first a 240V line (heater) and 2 120V lines (emergency generator power and basement receptacle) had to be re-routed.

So yesterday, I moved the lines.  In the picture below, the black outlets are on a generator panel circuit, the white outlets are the basement receptacle circuit and the open box is the heater circuit.

Opening that up was today's project.  Along with cutting down the removing this tree (14 inches in diameter.)


On top of that, ran a 10K today and 4 miles XC with the dogs yesterday.

Power black out on Friday night,spent 4hrs in A+E with my grandad this morning(he's fine aside from stitches).Great weekend

I'm always amazed by how much you guys can run. I don't know if my body type is not suitable for running or I'm just too fat and weak, but 5k and I'm dead, let along 10k or half marathon.

I spent the weekend putting four holes on my new pants, never buy ski pants without ankle reinforcement again. I'll be spending the next weekend making reinforcement patches out of old jeans, thank god for sewing machine.

I bought a fish tape, watched an episode of vikings, cleaned the kitchen, my desk, and went to eat some mexican food last night. Today bought World War Z at the bookstore. Bout to take the beagle for a long walk.

Naff weather here. Yesterday pottered in the garage.  Today cleared the snow on the drive and road.  Also 'Helped' my son make an eggs wing fighter for a Easter comp at school

Pretty much snowbound here. I battled through it to nip into work Saturday morning, but it wsn't much fun so I didn't bother the rest of the weekend. Pretty exhausted too (mental more than physical), so I had a thoroughly chilled out time with plenty of naps interpersed with DVDs, rum and diet coke, and a good book.

I've spent the weekend tending to our baby girl, dealing with company (family visiting baby) and sleeping   I actually take the night shift as I'm a night owl.  Although I've been staying up later than I normally would, but it's easier for me to just stay up until 4, 5 or 6am instead of going to bed at a normal time and getting up every couple hours or so.  Once I'm in bed, I'm not very good about being woken up until it's time to get up for the day   Of course this schedule will have to go back to my normal one once I go back to work.  I am normally up until 1-2am most nights anyway, but when working, I can't stay up any later and expect to do well getting up around 6:30 to get ready for work   I still have a couple weeks off to work at getting my sleep schedule back to normal though.  I will miss it though as I've rather enjoyed staying up pretty much all night

My girlfriend was here over spring break and found herself flying a $1k drone that a family friend owns.

I was online from Friday evening to Sunday night at "school". The great thing about my course is that it can be accessed in real time via a feed from the classroom when you can't be there physically. So I was up early all weekend hitting the coffee and the books

You can also download it to watch later too - makes it easier to go over stuff which you missed. I Like this kind of learning a lot, especially as my hip joints decided I wouldn't be travelling
